Chinese New Year Promotion - Beads Embroideries Class (Basic & Shimmering Floras)

Hi.. peeps ! Next week will be along weekend for all of us. To our Chinese friends, I would like to wish 'Gong Xi Fa Chai'.

Since this will be a long weekend, I'm thinking to conduct a Beads Embroideries Class (Basic & Shimmering Floras) on 5 February 2011. And I would to offer CNY promotion fees for RM180.00 per person. On top of that, if you bring along another friend/s to attend the class, you will be entitled for a 10% discount.

Date : 5 February 2011 (Saturday)

Time : 10 am to 5 pm

Venue : Shah Alam

Fees : RM 180.00 per person (10% discount if you bring a friend/s to join the class)

Beading - A Stress Therapy

That wuz what posted in Harian Metro, 26 January 2011. An article about a group of ladies (they're all my beading frenz.. !!!) choose beading as their hobby. Other than juz to fill up their free leisure hours, they managed to generate some income from their hobby. And the best part, they known each other for past a year via Facebook.

We normally meet once a week or more, to discuss on our beadworks. We also do share our knowledge among each other on some beading techniques. On top of that, some of us do conduct beading classes for those who are in interested to venture more into beads embroidery.

I wuz not there during the photoshoot, as I had some other appointment to attend. Ho.. ho.. I missed this golden opportunity. I wuz told some of them had even received calls, sms & messages in their FB enquiring about their beading services after their contact numbers and blog links were posted in the article. So can I called them as 'Celeb Beaders'.. ?? Ho ho ho.. i missed the boat (I wannabe the Celeb Beader too, LOL)

Day 8 of 2011

Yearppp.. it's Day 8 in 2011, yet I haven't post anything since my last posting last year. Hope it's not too late to wish everybody a Happy New Year. May 2011 brings more shines & joy to your life, mine especially. I really mean it.

I have many things to write, few photos from last Eid'ul Fitri beads embroideries orders to upload here but don't know when can I do so. Hope in one of these days. Insya Allah...

Dear Potential Customer, Can You Call Me Back

Yesterday I received a phone call from someone (sorry, I forgot her name) asking about the Rose Garden design that I stitched for Ju. She promised to call me back which she did. Unfortunately I didn't manage to grab the phone on time to answer. There's a number listed over my phone screen but when I dialed the number, it's a main hunting line of TNB.

To my dearest potential customer, if you happened to read this posting can you call/sms me back. Sorry I didn't able to answer your call yesterday as the rings stopped I could pressed the button 'answer'.

Rose Garden

Ju sent me her baju kurung for some beadswork way before Ramadhan and I stitched this Rose Garden design (inspired by Geejai of Art of Beads but I did some alternation) for her. She requested the beadswork for neck area (5 inch length) and for the sleeves.

As she's wearing headscarf, after Hari Raya she sent back her baju kurung to increase the 5" length to 12" length for the neckline, plus extra beadworks for the sleeves.
